MIRANDA TRACK
Longitudinal profile survey of your road network

Get and view the comfort score of your road network derived from longitudinal profile measurement using the MIRANDA TRACK app

Simple and economical for the detection and monitoring of profile defects

Based on the work of Gustave Eiffel University (formerly IFSTTAR) started more than 10 years ago with MIRANDA (“Automated Measurement of Road Indicators by Mobile Inspection Devices”), Logiroad now offers road managers an economical, simple and automatic tool to detect and analyse longitudinal profile defects, especially on secondary networks.

The mobile app to collect data on vibrational comfort experienced on your road network

The MIRANDA TRACK mobile application enables the detection and monitoring of longitudinal profile defects in the medium wave range as well as certain significant smaller defects (e.g. potholes).

The data are collected via a smartphone placed inside the cabin of the collection vehicle. It records signals from the phone’s sensors. These signals are representative of defects affecting driving comfort. The data are then presented, in the form of a profile score, on the Logiroad Center platform, allowing the manager to gain an overview of the comfort scrore experienced on their road network.

How does it work?

  • 1. Launch the MIRANDA TRACK app from your smartphone.
  • 2. Place your smartphone on its non-slip support mat on the passenger side floor mat.
  • 3. Start the measurement.
  • 4. Stop the measurement at the end of your reading.
  • 5. Send the measurement for processing and feedback to Logiroad Center.
